Albuquerque teen charged with fatally stabbing father will stay in custody

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A teen charged with stabbing and killing her father over the weekend will stay in custody. On Saturday, the Albuqeurque Police Department responded to the Arrowhead Pointe apartments, where they found 49-year-old Robert McCall with a stab wound to the neck.

Police said that 16-year-old Shaianne Kasero-McCall told them that she stabbed her father to defend her mother during a fight. But the mother told police she was not in the room when the stabbing happened.
