Christmas Eve evening forecast

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico is experiencing unusually warm temperatures, with potential record highs expected on Christmas Day.

Albuquerque will see temperatures back in the 60s, while parts of southeast New Mexico may reach 80 degrees. Most of the state will remain dry, although light showers could occur tonight and on Christmas Day near the Arizona border and the Four Corners area.

Light snow is possible in the highest peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains on Christmas Day. Temperatures will stay warm on Friday and into Saturday across much of New Mexico…
