[1] Plans to develop Albuquerque westside apartment complex move forward – An area in Albuquerque’s west side has been the subject of debate as community and tribal members have argued against the development of a proposed apartment complex. The land between Kimmick Drive and Rosa Parks Road is next to the Petroglyph National Monument, but developers are proposing a 283-unit complex. The original plans were announced in 2017 and approved in 2024.
[2] APD: Man arrested after threatening to shoot venue staff – A New Mexico man is behind bars Saturday evening after police say he threatened to shoot up a popular Albuquerque venue after getting into an argument with his girlfriend. Police say 24-year-old Andy Ray Molina was arrested early Saturday morning at Revel ABQ, a popular entertainment venue.
[3] Light rain and snow for parts of New Mexico – Light snow showers have formed not only in some of the southern mountainous areas but also in far Southeast New Mexico. With chilly rain activity also in far-southern areas, as Sunday’s cold front moved through with gusty winds, has led to a drop in temperatures with some patchy fog. Lower morning temperatures are in place with a bit of a breeze, making it feel even colder than the air temperatures in the north that are starting off mostly in the single digits to low 20s, while below-to-slightly above-freezing temperatures are mostly present in central to southern areas…
