ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A man is recovering from second-degree burns after he went into his home while it was on fire to try to save his pets, who didn’t make it.
His wife, Rebecca Garcia, says he is expected to recover. The family, is grateful that they got out on time, but it’s not how they envisioned the start of their Christmas week.
