Firefighters respond to fire at northeast Albuquerque apartment complex

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –  Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a fire at an apartment complex Thursday morning around 8 a.m.

When firefighters arrived at the Montgomery Manor Apartments, located at 4301 Morris St. NE, they found a working fire in the laundry room. Crews brought the fire under control within 10 minutes.

The laundry room had structural damage, and there was additional smoke and water damage to the leasing center, AFR said. No injuries were reported.
