NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Calmer conditions moved into the state today with warmer and drier weather. Cloud cover has been increasing from west to east through this afternoon and will continue to do so overnight. Dry conditions remain in place across the state through the weekend, but our next storm system will move in on Monday. Rain and mountain snow chances will increase across the northern parts of the region, with drier air continuing to dominate the southern half of the state. Any accumulation that comes from this system will be minimal.
