[1] Tim Keller takes oath for third term as Albuquerque Mayor – Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller is celebrating a historic milestone as the first mayor elected to a third consecutive term in the city’s history. Keller is the 30th mayor of Albuquerque and was first elected in 2017 during a runoff election. In his speech on Sunday, Mayor Keller commented on his commitment to tackling crime, expanding the downtown area, and addressing homelessness. Keller’s term will last until 2030.

[2] Six San Juan Mobile Home Park residents sue out-of-state owners – A group of residents in northern New Mexico claims their park owners are trying to push them out. Six longtime residents filed a lawsuit against Capital Communities, the Tennessee-based owners of the mobile home park, claiming their rights as manufactured homeowners were violated and continue to be violated under the New Mexico Mobile Home Park Act. The lawsuit claims that, since taking over the park, its owners have imposed unlawful rules, notices, and fees. The group claims the owners tried to impose a 73% rent increase.

[3] Mild air with some breezy conditions – Precipitation chances return for northwest New Mexico, southwest Colorado, and parts of the northern mountains. A small surge of moisture is expected to bring light rain and light mountain snow, while the rest of the state remains on the drier side.
