Fire at northeast Albuquerque apartment displaces 2 people

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Firefighters responded to a fire at an Albuquerque apartment complex Monday morning.

Crews found a fire and smoke at 305 Charleston St. NE Apt 1 around 5 a.m. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes of their arrival, and damage was primarily contained to the involved apartment with minor smoke and water damage to an adjacent apartment, Albuquerque Fire Rescue said.

No injuries were reported; however, two individuals were displaced as a result of this incident, and the Red Cross was called to assist with accommodations…
