TOHAJIILEE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man is dead after a shooting involving the Navajo Police Department. Officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance and kidnapping around 10:30 a.m. in To’Hajiilee, which is roughly 19 miles west of Albuquerque.

Officers found the victim, but Navajo police said a man came out of a home armed with a weapon. At least one officer opened fire, killing the man. He has not yet been named. No one else was hurt.
