Literacy Center Coming to Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –New Mexico’s first Literacy Center is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026. The $30 million dollar project is geared toward boosting literacy for people of all ages in New Mexico. Recent data from the National Institute of Education Sciences ranks NM second to last in the nation for adult literacy. Up to 500 students will be able to access the facility at any one time, free of charge.
