ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A jury convicted a man of a deadly stabbing on an Albuquerque city bus last year. Then 19-year-old Charles Madrid stabbed and killed 43-year-old Adrian Marthell after an altercation on an ABQ Ride bus near Central Ave. and Coors Blvd.

Madrid fled to a nearby school he attended, and told staff he got into a fight and was sent home. The principal called the police, who arrested Madrid at his home. On Thursday, he was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter.
