Man who fired shots outside Coronado Mall will be released in March

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A 19-year old Albuquerque man who was arrested for shooting a gun in the Coronado Mall parking lot last February will serve months in jail and be released in March. Jabsie Lewis, was the passenger in a vehicle that was driving in the mall parking lot when he fired several shots out of the window towards the entertainment business Round One. Thanks to a witness who told police they saw Lewis’ arm sticking outside of the window holding a gun, as well as surveillance footage, police were able to make the arrest.

No one was injured in the incident, but an empty pickup truck was hit twice.

Lewis, pleaded guilty in August to the shooting and was in court on Monday, where he faced up to five-and-a-half years in prison…
