Bernalillo County Metro Court will not hold Valentine’s Day weddings this year

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s a long-time tradition that many couples look forward to each year: tying the knot at the Bernalillo County Metro Court on Valentine’s Day. However, this year, the court will not be marrying couples on the holiday due to this year’s calendar.

In 2026, Valentine’s Day falls on Saturday, which is when the court is closed. So, this year, couples will have to look at locations and officiants outside the courthouse to get married on the holiday.
