(NEXSTAR) – After closing more than 40 restaurants in 2025, Noodles & Company is preparing to shutter additional locations in 2026.
In a press release Monday, the company said it closed 42 stores – 33 company-owned and nine franchise locations – in 2025, bringing its footprint to 423 stores (340 of which are company-owned) by the end of the year.
Noodles & Company said it planned to close 21 restaurants last spring to improve its financial footing, Nexstar’s KDVR reported. Months later, the company announced it would close additional restaurants.
