Albuquerque city councilors consider allowing duplexes and townhomes in all neighborhoods

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – City councilors are considering proposals that could reshape neighborhoods across Albuquerque. One of the most controversial elements would allow duplexes and townhomes in all R-1 zones: areas long designated for single-family homes only.  The idea is drawing both strong support and opposition.
