New Mexico woman sentenced for stealing cars from gym parking lots

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A judge handed down the sentence on Friday for a woman with a history of stealing cars. According to police, 43-year-old Angelique Silva would break into lockers at gyms in Albuquerque and steal the car out of the parking lot while the victims were working out.

Former treasurer of New Mexico religious group accused of stealing $2 million in funds

Silva has a criminal history going back to 2019, when she pleaded guilty to auto theft. Judge David Murphy sentenced her to six years in prison.
