Jury selected for trial of Albuquerque man accused of double murder

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A jury is being selected for the double homicide trial of an Albuquerque man. Dakota Briscoe is accused of killing two men in the South Valley in September 2020. Albuquerque Police Department investigators said both bodies were found in a vehicle that was set on fire. Briscoe is also accused of multiple armed carjackings and evading arrest.

Man found guilty of 2020 sexual assault of a child

Last year, a federal judge sentenced Briscoe to 25 years in prison for carjacking and gun charges in the case. His state trial on murder charges is scheduled to start on Monday.
