ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Justin Hunt pled guilty to a federal extortion charge, confessing to participating in the DWI Dismissal Scandal for more than 10 years of his career with the Albuquerque Police Department. From his plea agreement, KRQE has learned he wasn’t just coordinating with a law firm to get cases dismissed. Hunt also worked with them to create DWI cases they’d later make big bucks from.
