Community rallies for Juani’s Kitchen in Albuquerque after viral TikTok plea

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Juani’s Kitchen, a local restaurant, was at risk of closing for good.

With tears in her eyes, owner Lorena Rangel took to TikTok to get people to come in and eat. It serves as a true example of how social media can be used for good. For Rangel, this change happened overnight. With customers lining up around the door, she’s ready to host what she calls her Albuquerque angels.
