ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The 19-year-old suspect in a deadly Albuquerque house party shooting will remain behind bars until his trial. Daniel Arredondo is facing murder charges for shooting and killing a man at a house party in December. According to a criminal complaint, Arredondo got into a fight with Alberto Peres and shot him to death.
Aredondo justified the killing to officers, saying that Peres pulled a gun on him, but witnesses said they did not see Peres with a firearm. Along with murder charges, he is facing unlawful carrying of a handgun by a person under age 19. On Friday, Judge Bruce Fox ordered Arredondo to remain in jail while he awaits his trial…
