ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) is celebrating its very own Lieutenant Daniel Oliveras for his service as he retires after 25 years. Lieutenant Oliveras started his career as a firefighter in 2000 with the 61st Cadet Class.
AFR tackles 3 separate fires across metro
In 2002, he attended paramedic school and became a paramedic driver. He received his promotion to lieutenant in 2015, working with different rescue units. In 2018, he found his home at Rescue 21, where he spent the rest of his career.
After 25 years, Lieutenant Oliveras plans to enjoy the nice change of pace, taking it day by day…
