RIO RANCHO — The usual? Cleveland took home another wrestling state trophy this past weekend. The unexpected? It was a clean sweep.
Another chapter in the Storm’s book of wrestling history came to a storybook conclusion at the Rio Rancho Events Center, when the program took home the state titles in both the boys and girls divisions.
Eight different Storm wrestlers across both fields became individual state champions, headlined by senior Roman Luttrell’s fifth state title, only the second athlete to ever accomplish the feat in 5A.
