Presbyterian newborns to get special onesies for 100th anniversary of Route 66

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Presbyterian Hospital is set to give newborns special onesies to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66 in 2026.

Presbyterian, which touts themselves as the oldest hospital along the Mother Road, is anticipating nearly 3,000 babies will be born at their hospital. Each one will get a special “Born on Route 66” onesie.

“Route 66 is part of Albuquerque’s identity, and so are the families we serve every day,” said Dr. Rebecca Vasilion, Women’s Program medical director, Presbyterian Healthcare Services. “This is a joyful way to honor our city’s history while celebrating new life and welcoming our youngest community members.”…
