RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A major change in leadership is on the way for Rio Rancho on Tuesday, March 3. For the first time in ten years, the city will have a new mayor as Greg Hull leaves the position to run for governor.
KRQE News 13 sat down with all six candidates to hear one of their goals if they’re elected as Rio Rancho mayor. To keep things fair, News 13 drew names to pick the order of their responses.
Young candidate Zachary Darden currently works in conservation and said his goals align with his work. “So, resource protection comes number one, and that’s clean water, clean air, clean soil.
