Pedestrian killed on I-40 east near Louisiana and Wyoming

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Interstate 40 eastbound between Louisiana and Wyoming is back open Monday morning after being closed due to a crash in which a pedestrian was killed.

New Mexico State Police said officers were dispatched to the area around 4:56 a.m. for reports of a person struck by a vehicle. NMSP said the investigation is ongoing.
