We don’t always include information about Albuquerque restaurants, but when we do it’s because we were dragged to the city—often against our will—and shuffled into some restaurant we’d never heard about until that moment. That’s what happened to us just last weekend. In those situations, the dining is often fine, but, like, let’s get real about how Santa Fe just has better restaurants.
We’re not trying to start a flame war, and we’re sure any ABQ readers are gonna reach out to be like, “Have you ever had a sandwich at Some Effing Sandwich Place before? They do things with processed ham that can only happen off Louisiana Boulevard!” If you can picture a face agog with indignant yeah-right-ittude, just do that instead of bothering to write, because we’re busy eating a badass brekkie b at literally anyplace. We’re just saying we’re Santa Fe-core, baby, no matter how much anyone from the great big city feels like popping up to our sleepy mountain hamlet to teach us yokels how to live.
