RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A Rio Rancho Board of Education member is stepping down. The district said that Board Secretary Elizabeth Miller will resign from her District 4 seat this coming Monday to focus on her health. She was first elected to the board in 2023, representing neighborhoods like High Resort, Panorama Heights, and Star Heights.

The board will appoint a replacement to serve the rest of Miller’s term.
