ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Two different demonstrations were held in Albuquerque on Saturday regarding the war in Iran.
Calls for regime change
People gathered at the UNM campus to cheer for regime change in Iran, hoping it leads to a better future for the Middle East.
Organizers of the rally highlighted the hopes of Iranian people for a regime change following the death of the Ayatollah. Many attendees said they have family in Iran and wish for an end to the conflict soon.
“We wish that in this situation ends in regime change in Iran that it could be a better future for the whole world and all the Mediterranean and middle east countries. We hope this happens soon,” said one participant.
