Man arrested following stabbing on ART bus, per APD

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man is facing charges for stabbing another man while on board an ART bus on Thursday.

Christopher Maes, 47, stabbed the victim multiple times while the man was asleep in a seat in the back of the bus, according to court documents.

The victim told the Albuquerque Police Department that he was able to free himself from the attacker, later identified by police as Maes, and ran to the front of the bus, where he told the driver what happened and to let him off. The victim then went to a Boost Mobile store at 4010 Central Ave., and asked the employee to call 911, according to court documents…
