90 degree temps hit the metro

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Record-breaking heat is being felt throughout the state, especially here in the metro area. So, what are Albuquerque residents doing to beat the heat?

“I feel like it’s a little too hot, but it’s spring. It’s going to go into summer, so I think we’re definitely in for a hot summer this year,” said one resident.

As we step outside this weekend, we’ll be met with a scorching surprise: 90-degree temperatures in March. Many people are out and about, enjoying the summer-like conditions. “I just got up this morning to see what the weather was like today. It’s a nice, beautiful day here in Albuquerque, so I wanted to get out this weekend,” another resident shared.

Record heat ahead for Saturday

Mark Sutton commented, “Usually when these high pressures set in with the heat, there isn’t much wind, which affects us. We sail year-round, rain or shine.”…
