ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man is in custody for his role in a shooting that left his friend dead. Police said that on March 4, Sean Martin and Jeremy Muñoz fired 14 shots at a Hummer along Aztec Road, north of Candelaria Road. Martin’s ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend were inside. No one was hurt, and the people in the Hummer went to a friend’s house. Police said a passenger in that Hummer later found Martin and Muñoz, shooting and killing Martin.

The Albuquerque Police Department has not yet named that gunman, but police have arrested Muñoz for the first shooting, charging him with attempted murder and other crimes. They said that Martin had a history of stalking and threatening his ex, and Muñoz helped him. Prosecutors have filed a motion to keep Muñoz behind bars until trial.
