Former head of Albuquerque’s FBI office breaks down his new role leading public safety in the city

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – He’s led major criminal investigations in Albuquerque at the federal level. Now, after a year off, Raul Bujanda said he’s coming back to the career he left, not with the feds but the City of Albuquerque, in a role centered on collaboration.

“You never really leave it, you know, it’s kinda one of those things when you’re in, especially in a place like Albuquerque or just New Mexico in general, it gets under your skin right? You always want to try to do something, you always want to be present in your community,” said Raul Bujanda, Executive Director of Public Safety.
