The community baby shower featured vendors and local partners offering career services, educational materials, and items needed to help through pregnancy and early parenthood. “We want to limit financial stress; we want to be able to offer support to all mothers, no matter their color, no matter their financial status. Every mother deserves to feel supported,” said Tyra Boxton, project coordinator for Women in Leadership.
