Man sentenced for deadly shooting at Albuquerque apartments

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man was in court Monday to be sentenced for shooting and killing someone in Albuquerque.

Albuquerque police said detectives received a call from a behavioral health hospital in Texas, saying Dorian McCuller told staff he may have hurt someone in Albuquerque. McCuller told police he shot Richard Cabell two times after Cabell struck him in the face during an argument at the Copper Ridge Apartments. Judge Matthew Chavez sentenced MCuller to 15 years in prison.
