ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New speed cameras are being placed around Albuquerque, in the city’s latest effort to slow down drivers. The new cameras are part of the city’s Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) program.
NMSP makes wrongway driver arrest
The four cameras are now live on Broadway, Unser, Juan Tabo, and Zuni. In 2002, the City of Albuquerque said it began installing ASE cameras to help address speeders on city streets.
City officials say speed cameras are now in 29 locations across Albuquerque, and since the program’s inception, nearly 600,000 citations have been issued…
