84th anniversary of the Fall of Bataan-Corregidor

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – This weekend, city officials and veterans commemorated the 84th anniversary of the fall of Bataan-Corregidor, a historic event when American and Filipino troops joined forces on the Bataan peninsula against the Japanese. Out of the many service members sent overseas, nearly 2,000 New Mexican soldiers served alongside Filipino soldiers.
