ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The 2026 U.S. Open Horseshoe Tournament opened in Albuquerque with 142 pitchers competing and an estimated $150,000 boost for the local economy.
The tournament started Friday at Mariposa Basin Park in northwest Albuquerque and runs through Sunday. Organizers said this marks the first time Albuquerque has hosted the U.S. Open tournament.
