ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity got a boost from Bank of America on Thursday to help build two homes in the city.
The bank made a $15,000 donation to Habitat for Humanity, which helps provide affordable home-ownership opportunities for lower-income families. The money will go toward the ongoing construction of two homes on William Street SE.
In addition to the check presentation on Thursday, bank volunteers joined the volunteer construction crew and the homeowners to work on the homes. The bank volunteers will be back at the site on April 30 to help the crew again…
