Convicted murderer confesses to 2 additional killings in Albuquerque, DA says

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man who is already serving prison time for murder has confessed to two additional murders that took place in Albuquerque in March 2018, the Bernalillo County district attorney announced Thursday.

Kevin Geier, on Thursday, admitted to killing Adrian Johnson and Samuel Almanza. Both victims were shot in the back of the head in separate incidents within five days, the DA said.

Johnson was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex in northeast Albuquerque, while Almanza was killed in a motel room on the city’s west side. Investigators believe both killings were drug-related.

Following Almanza’s murder, the DA said Geier fled to Arizona, where he was later arrested. Geier was reportedly found with multiple guns, including weapons stolen from Almanza…
