ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – As early as May 17, crews in Albuquerque will begin work on the new southbound I-25 Montgomery Blvd. on-ramp and southbound Frontage Rd. between Montgomery and Midtown Rd. This is part of the I-25 improvement project.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation says work will continue for about seven weeks. The current southbound Montgomery on-ramp and southbound Frontage Rd. between Montgomery and Midtown will be closed 24/7 while crews work on the new on-ramp. Drivers should expect heavy delays on the area and plan an alternate route. Drivers will be rerouted to the Comanche Rd. interchange while construction is ongoing…
