PARADISE HILLS — A bear spotted in Corrales, near Cibola High School and more recently Paradise Hills is being sought by New Mexico Game and Fish.
First calls came from Corrales on the evening of May 6 then again for the high school sighting. Game and Fish stated they went looking for the bear starting at 3 a.m. May 7. They have not successfully captured it.
“Game and Fish officers attempted to capture the bear to remove it from the area, but were unsuccessful. Department officers have been looking for the bear, but have not been able to locate it as of Thursday afternoon,” Game and Fish communications director Darren Vaughn said…
