Complex weather week begins in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A complex weather week is upon us in the Land of Enchantment, with a slow-moving cold front kicking that off.

For Monday, a slow-moving cold front that has been stuck between southern Colorado and northern New Mexico will finally push to the south. One thing we will all be seeing are strong gusty winds, up to 30 mph or higher. Some places may see gusts up to 50 mph.

The National Weather Service issued Wind Advisories for all of northeast New Mexico, including the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Tusas Mountains from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Sacramento Mountains is also under an advisory for a similar timespan…
