ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A herd of deer had a close call with traffic in northeast Albuquerque on Wednesday morning.

KRQE News 13 viewer Ashley Lopez sent in a video of the encounter, which showed the herd of seven walking on the sidewalk on Comanche Road NE towards Morris Street NE around 7:40 a.m.
The deer, one by one, then entered the roadway, and thankfully, the drivers, including Lopez, stopped just in time.
Hopefully, the doe and the younger deer hoofed it out of there and made it to their destination safely…
