Northern Virginia residents playing major role in Down syndrome advocacy

The Global Down Syndrome Foundation hosted its annual Acceptability Gala in Washington, D.C., in late May, with contributions from numerous Northern Virginia residents and speeches from U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, Rep. Paul Tonko, Rep. Diana DeGette.
