Man killed in Southeast DC shooting, $25K reward offered for information

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man was killed in a Monday shooting in Southeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police said officers responded to sounds of gunshots at 3:09 p.m. in the 600 block of Southern Ave, SE.

There, a man, later identified as 41-year-old Marion Rodgers III, was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
