WASHINGTON (7News) — A person was detained after a vehicle suspected of being involved in an early-morning shooting in Northeast, D.C., later fled from officers and crashed Monday afternoon, according to U.S. Park Police and D.C. Police.
Officers were patrolling in the area of a reported shooting when they saw a vehicle driving fast, before ultimately crashing with another vehicle near Interstate 295 and Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast, at around 2:30 p.m.
