2 dead, including suspect, in Tenleytown shootings

D.C. police shot and killed a suspect in a Tenleytown homicide Tuesday morning, interim D.C. Police Chief Jeffrey Carroll said at a news conference.

The male suspect allegedly shot the victim, a woman, on the 3600 block of Wisconsin Avenue, NW, just after 7 a.m. and boarded a northbound Metro bus at Porter Street, NW, Carroll said. Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
