UPDATE: The child has been identified and returned to the custody of his parents.
The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying the guardian of a non-verbal child who was found early Monday morning in Takoma Park.
According to police, the child, believed to be between 6 and 9 years old, was located near the 7700 block of Blair Road at approximately 3:24 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026…
