A local pastor will head to the nation’s capital this week to take part in an event marking America’s 250th anniversary.
On Friday, Pastor Mike Palmer of Triadelphia United Methodist Church will travel to Washington, D.C., where he is scheduled to speak during a special interfaith service at the Washington National Cathedral honoring the nation’s Semiquincentennial.
