WASHINGTON (7News) — The active weather pattern rolls on Tuesday with clouds, high humidity, and additional rain and storm chances.
Afternoon high temperatures will be cooler-than-average with highs in the lower 80s, as the weather front drops farther south.
Tuesday will remain very humid, so it will likely feel warmer than the actual air temperature. Keep the umbrella on hand with a chance for rain at any point throughout the day. Continue to watch for high water following Monday night’s heavy rainfall in northern Virginia.
Heavy rain and strong storms will likely stay south and west of the D.C. Metro Tuesday and Wednesday, but still keep an eye on the sky and live radar to track wet weather.
Damp and humid weather is expected overnight, as low temperatures fall to either side of 70 degrees. Lingering showers are possible with low clouds and areas of patchy fog.

There is a slightly lower chance for rain midweek, so that may bode better for your outdoor plans.
